Guitard_Epiphone_03I am thankful that I have been blessed with the gift and talent of music. My Dad gave me my first guitar lesson on my ninth birthday; I haven’t looked back since.

In past years I’ve played with several bands including the Joyful Life Gospel Band and Peculiar People. These days I’m doing something a little different. The Lord has given me the opportunity to offer a ministry I call “Oldies Night”. I take old secular songs from the ’40s through the ’80s and rework them to bring glory to God. I do so based on the following Scripture:

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (II Cor. 5:17)

My mission with this ministry is to illustrate to Christians that we are new CREATURES, not CREATIONS; as such God is changing us from the inside out, not the outside in. If we aren’t willing to follow this program we are destined to a life of spiritual failure.

Some of the more popular songs I have reworked include:

  • Beat It – Michael Jackson
  • Gentle on My Mind – Glen Campbell
  • American Pie – Don McClean
  • Hotel California – The Eagles
  • Living in America – James Brown

I have over 140 songs to date…and the library continues to grow. If you’re interested in an Oldies Night for your church or Christian organization, please get in touch with me using the contact page of this site.
